Scripture Study

Each year we offer an indepth examination of Sacred Scripture.  We have looked at a complete overview of the 73 books comprising the library we call the Bible, and we have focused on one particulat book.  We also have taken themes and have seen how the different auhtors developed the subject matter.

All scripture gatherings are cost free and open to all parishioners. Occassionally we do use a text, and the cost of purchasing a book for each participant would be passed along according to ability to pay.

Our Summer Bible Study on Amos begins August Bible Study August 4th and 6th.

Amos: Gods Messenger of Justice

The message of Amos stands out as one of the most powerful voices ever to challenge hypocrisy and injustice. He spoke the word of the Lord boldly to both the religious and the national leaders of Israel.

In these days of social unrest, pandemic, and bitter partisan politics, hear anew the voice of the Lord’s messenger of justice.

You are invited to join this 4-week study via Zoom. To maximize effective discussion, groups will be limited in size.
