Children's Ministry

Faith formation begins at home, the domestic church. The parish assists by providing opportunities for family activities, individual enrichment and religious education and formation for all ages. Each parishioner is a model of living faith and continual growth for our children. Learn more about our Children's Ministry offerings:

Sacramental Preparation

Sacramental preparation instruction is a two-year program that prepares children and youth in grades 2-12 to receive their first Reconciliation and first Communion. Classes are held during the school year.

Preparation can begin as early as the first grade. The first year of preparation consists of regular faith formation classes and/or enrollment in a Catholic school. The second year of preparation is the traditional first Reconciliation and Communion class.

For children in grades 2-5, sacramental prep classes will be held from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Sundays.

Questions? Contact our Children's Minister, KayLynne Barnes, at kbarnes@stvincentparish.org.
