The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a volunteer, parish-based ministry of men and women dedicated to helping our neighbors in need. We join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service, including food and rent assistance, to those who are needy and suffering.

PREPARES (Pregnancy and Parenting Support) is our outreach to families in the Federal Way community who have children 5 and under. We provide essential needs for children as well as companionship for parents. Our services are available to everyone.

The St. Vincent de Paul Parish Welcome Circle is a ministry of outreach and assistance to our immigrant brothers and sisters in our parish and the broader Federal Way community.
We have welcomed and supported a family from Ukraine and now are developing a navigator team to assist immigrants with needs ranging from navigating the health care system to building their English skills.

Every Saturday afternoon, St. Vincent parishioners help serve a meal for community members in need. On Tuesday mornings, they provide people with rental assistance and gas vouchers. Learn more on our Community Supper page: www.stvincentparish.org/community-supper

Twice a year, parishioners from St. Vincent de Paul Parish collect basic needs items for Hospitality House, a shelter at Lake Burien Presbyterian Church for single women experiencing homelessness.

The Funeral Ministry helps families plan funeral liturgies for their loved ones, provides a hostess to assist the family during the rites, and coordinates volunteers to provide a reception at no cost to the family. Contact: Front Desk, 253-839-2320.

Eucharistic Ministers bring communion to those unable to come to Mass on Sunday. Contact: Front Desk, 253-839-2320.
Middle school and high school students, as well as adults spend one week of the summer in some of the poorer places in North America in an immersion program that serves the needs of the poor.
